Fan belt measurement

Keyence LK Series

Measurement of fan belt runout

The LK Series measures the runout of black rubber fan belts and provides a stable output. Printed characters on the fan belt have no affect on measurement stability.

Surface ripple

Keyence LK Series

Measurement of sand mold surface ripple

The LK Series directs the laser beam to the formed sand mold. By measuring the distance to the sand mold surface, the sensor detects ripples and prevents molding failures from occurring.

Front wheel adjustment

Keyence LK Series

Toe-in adjustment for front wheels

Two LK Series laser displacement sensors are used to measure the amount of toe-in. One sensor is directed at the front of a front wheel and a second sensor at the rear of the same wheel. The difference in the distances measured by the two sensors (X-Y) is displayed on the RD Analog Sensor Controller.

Detection of Seam Position Inside of Frame Pipe for Motorcycle

The LK Series detects the position of the seams of metal pipes before the bending process. This prevents seam breakage due to bending. The LK Series stably detects the seam regardless of the inconsistencies of baking.

Sliding surface roughness

Keyence LK Series

Measurement of Sliding Surface Roughness of Bearings

After the bearing polishing process (inner races), the surface roughness is measured without physical contact with the bearing.
