Transparent workpieces with multiple reflections

Transparent or translucent targets that generate multiple reflections can be stably detected using the I-DATUM feature.

Grease application confirmation

Translucent liquids, such as grease or adhesives, can be easily detected using I-DATUM mode. Simply use the external calibration input to set the part background, and the sensor will quickly output once the liquid is applied.

Packaging materials

Packaging materials can be easily detected using I-DATUM mode, regardless of color, transparency, or package content.

Use as a general-purpose laser sensor

Sensors containing the I-DATUM feature can still utilize the standard DATUM mode for all-purpose detection.
