Both NPN and PNP outputs are supported. The outputs are set the first time the user turns on the power. These settings can subsequently be changed. Judgments are output as HIGH, GO, or LOW.
The bank function can register up to four patterns of specific
settings.* For example, in response to a measurement target
changeover, this function allows the user to easily switch between
the patterns of registered settings.

The DL-EP1 is an EtherNet/IP™ compatible adaptor which can read and write the data from the connected sensor amplifier from a PLC (programmable controller). It supports cyclic communication as well as UCMM and Class 3 (explicit message communication). Data can be exchanged without a ladder program. The sensor amplifier settings and status can be read and written at random timing, and commands can be issued to the sensor amplifier.
The DL-DN1 operates as a slave unit of DeviceNet™ communication. Using DeviceNet™ communications, the sensor amplifiers and other units connected to the DL-DN1 can transmit their ON/ OFF control signals and measured values as communication data to PLC or other equipment.
The DL-DN1 supports I/O communication (polling) and explicit messaging. I/O polling enables data communication without the need of a ladder program. Explicit messaging allows for reading/writing sensor amplifier parameters and issuing commands to the sensor amplifiers.
The DL-PN1 operates as a slave unit of PROFINET communication.
By using PROFINET communications, the sensor amplifiers connected to the DL-PN1 can send their ON/OFF signals and measured values to the PLC or other equipments.
DL-PN1 supports data I/O communication and record data communication.
The DL-PD1 operates as a slave unit of PROFIBUS DP communication.
By using PROFIBUS DP communications, the sensor amplifiers connected to the DL-PD1 can send their ON/OFF signals and measured values to the PLC or other equipments.
DL-PD1 supports cyclic communication and acyclic communication of the DP-V1 service.
