This online training course provides the necessary foundation for the vision system programmer to take full advantage of the power, speed, and flexibility of the XG-X vision system and Vision Editor software. Users with some previous vision system programming experience will derive the most benefit from this class.

Videos in the course will cover best practices for creating proportional 3D images and using the laser profile height data for high-accuracy measurements, as well as, creating contrast in vision algorithms where cameras fail to perform stable inspections, like pattern matching, edge detection, and defect inspection. Three challenging programming exercises are included, where the user can download a workspace and follow step-by-step instructions to complete realistic vision inspections.
