Since KEYENCE's establishment in 1974, we have been dedicated to contributing to society through the creation of added value, viewing it as the fundamental purpose of our business. We believe it is our responsibility to accurately understand what is happening at our customers’ manufacturing sites, anticipate challenges that have not yet become apparent, and continuously deliver added value through our products.
The environment surrounding our company is changing greatly due to technological advancements. From rising automation needs driven by a shrinking workforce to rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, there is a transformation happening in how manufacturing is done. Due to these changes, we must capture, adapt to them, and evolve further to create more value than before.
We believe our added value comes from our innovative products. One of our most important missions is to continue creating highly valuable products that truly help our customers — such as products that can change the world or products with “world-first” or “industry-first” features.
