We considered whether to use a contact-type measurement system or the TM Series Optical Micrometer. We tried the TM Series and decided to use it because we could measure the perpendicularity with both ease and stability. We found the "position correction" function to be really useful because it ensures measurement by tracking the target even when the target position or inclination deviates a little.

With our non-contact TM Series, you can measure perpendicularity easily by just setting the target within the measurement area.
Since the target is liquid, we could not use contact-type systems and faced difficulty in finding a measurement method. Then KEYENCE introduced the TM Series 2D Optical Micrometer to us. We tried the measurement with a trial unit and were surprised with how easy it was to measure the angle and shape of the flowing liquid.
