We used a contact-type measurement system to inspect the stroke of camera modules. We wanted to reduce the inspection time and were considering the purchase of a non-contact measurement system, when KEYENCE introduced the LK Series Laser Displacement Sensor. Since it reliably followed fast movement, we could reduce the inspection time significantly.
KEYENCE
Thank you for using KEYENCE products. We are very glad to hear that our product has contributed to the reduction of inspection cycle time. The LK Series Laser Displacement Sensor is a product offering a sampling speed up to 392 kHz, the fastest in the world. It can follow the fast movement of camera modules to ensure accurate measurement.
Before, We used a tape measure for alignment. we had problems with large measurement errors and poor repeatability. Since the LK-G3000 Series Laser Displacement Sensor allows measurement from a distance up to 1,000 mm, we can measure a variety of products with one set up.
KEYENCE
Thank you for using KEYENCE products. Laser displacement sensors are well received by our customers because anyone can obtain the same result repeatedly. The system helps with reproducibility because it is simple to keep a record of measurement values.
We previously used an eddy current measurement system to confirm the behavior of a press. The measurement range was limited and we could only measure around the bottom dead center. The LK-G3000 Series Laser Displacement Sensor has allowed us to quantify the behavior over long distance and better predict maintenance timing.
KEYENCE
Thank you for using KEYENCE products. The stroke measurement of a press is a common application for the LK-G3000 Series. By detecting the relative positions of the four corners of the die, you can check alignment as well as the stroke.
