What are your job responsibilities?

I am the Talent Acquisition Manager of our Pipeline team. Our team is responsible for attending career events, sourcing and engaging prospective candidates via Handshake and LinkedIn, facilitating the day-to-day operations of our internship program, and managing the offer and onboarding process for new hires.

At a high level, our role is to proactively identify the best and brightest talent and guide them through our interview process as seamlessly and efficiently as possible.

What do you like about your role as a manager?

I love being able to support my team in achieving both their individual goals and our broader team objectives. As a 100% promote-from-within company, I’m able to empathize with my direct reports and provide feedback from a place of shared experience — “I’ve been in your shoes, and here’s how I would approach it.”

I also truly enjoy seeing people grow in their careers. Being able to play even a small part in someone’s professional development and progression is incredibly rewarding.

What do you like about working at KEYENCE?

The people: every day I get to work with intelligent and driven individuals. We are a lean organization, so you get a lot of exposure very early on in your career. I can honestly say you’ll be doing things in your first two years at KEYENCE that you wouldn’t get to do for 10 years at a different company.

Any message you would share to prospective applicants?

Ask the Talent Team questions, especially the tough ones. I’m always most impressed by the candidates that ask questions that I struggle to answer. You’re interviewing us just as much as we’re interviewing you!
