ER-N series - Separate Amplifier Digital Proximity Sensor

Introducing a separate-amplifier model proximity sensor that improves visibility and allows for clear sensor feedback. Featuring the world’s first proximity sensor amplifier with a built-in OLED display, adjusting settings numerically is easier than ever, ensuring high stability even in strict detection applications. Additionally, the separate amplifier provides added flexibility with sensing heads that are considerably smaller than conventional proximity sensors.

Features

High-Definition Display for Greater Ease of Use

The ER-N Series features the world's first proximity sensor with an OLED display. This display provides clear and real-time information, remotely. Additionally, the easy-to-read menus streamline setup and maintenance, without the need to reference a manual.

Reduced Wiring and Mutual Interference Prevention

It is possible to connect up to 16 amplifiers in series, with interference prevention for up to 8 units. This reduces wiring and ensures reliability in applications that require close installation, such as in compact equipment. Wiring can be further reduced by using a combination of main/expansion units or network friendly zero-line types.

World’s First Two-Point Adjustment Function for Improved Detection Stability

The sensor’s ADJ button enables easy automatic tuning using a dual-reference algorithm, maximizing the detection margin—even when target and background signals are similar.

High-Speed 150 µs Response Time

Stable detection is possible even for small, fast-moving targets such as rotating objects and high-speed transfer parts. The ER-N Series solves a variety of production challenges where faster response times are required.
