The vision system measures the surface, lead dimensions, and bend.

Edge position information can be acquired by setting the measurement areas to cover the profile of the capacitor. Based on the acquired information, it is possible to easily calculate such things as the maximum/minimum width, maximum/ minimum position, angles of two approximate-lines, and distances.


Dimensional measurements were partially done by using the basic edge inspection tools. The XG Series can perform more specific dimensional measurement using calculations to accurately manipulate dimensional information of the processed image.
