Digital Microscopes
Free-Angle Observation System
Conventional optical microscopes are only able to view an object from directly above, with users having to use putty or fixtures to try to prop the object up at a different angle. The Free-angle Observation System is able to tilt the camera and lens around the object, as well as rotate the stage, giving users the ability to view the part from any angle. Additionally, these systems are designed to be eucentric, so that even when tilting, the sample stays in the center of the field-of-view. The lens position and stage height can also be adjusted to accommodate larger samples that are not suitable for conventional microscopes. The lens and camera can even be removed from the stand and operated in handheld mode.
