The CL-3000 Series measures ink reduction as a change in height. Conventionally, the change in weight was measured, which required constant removals of ink cartridges. The CL-3000 Series uses multi-color confocal measurement, which is unaffected by variations in ink colour. It can also be used to observe ink drying speed.
