Directional Control Valves / Cushion Valves
KEYENCE Valve Manifolds are designed to maximize flexibility by being fully customizable and simple to wire. These manifolds provide complete pneumatic system monitoring and include pre-programmed software for full monitoring and control. The series of Smart Cushion Valves increase cylinder speed and reduce cylinder slamming, simultaneously. These devices allow for increased throughput and decreased maintenance due to less impact over time.
Product Lineup
The KEYENCE Smart Valve Manifold enables unmatched flexibility with its modular design. Utilize any size or valve type in conjunction with each other, eliminating the need for uniformity by foregoing a traditional backplate. Visualization and monitoring of the pneumatic system can be done easily with the pre-programmed software on all communication units, allowing for remote control and troubleshooting. Each valve is equipped with an M8 quick disconnect, allowing for communication of ON/OFF status, piston position, impact level, and stroke time that can be taken back over EtherNet/IP™, PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, and IO-Link. Identifying cylinder performance and remote operation of valves and sensors is easily achieved, streamlining installation and troubleshooting.
Features
Design and Install Valve Manifold with Unmatched Flexibility
Fully Customizable Valve Manifolds
Select valve units without restrictions on type or size. Easily add or remove valves at any time, regardless of your initial configuration.
Units can be easily added, even as a retrofit
The Smart Cushion Valve increases cylinder speed while also mitigating impact. This is achieved by communicating with the linear cylinder sensor to identify piston position and switching between two internal flow paths. Impact is mitigated by decelerating the piston prior to impact. The Automatic Stroke Control (ASC) function automatically corrects cushion start position as speed fluctuates due to external causes. Setup is done step by step to make the integration process quick and easy. Impact level and stroke time can be viewed readily on the display to see real time changes in the system to ensure lasting operation.
Features
Increase Cylinder Speed Without Destructive Impact
Reduces Impact by Switching Between High-Speed and Deceleration Flow Paths
The valve has two internal flow paths. Using piston position from the CS Linear Cylinder Sensor, it automatically switches between the high-speed flow path and deceleration flow path. This allows the cylinder to slow down just before impact, providing stable shock absorption without mechanical wear and tear.
Switches between the high-speed flow path and deceleration flow path
Utilize in conjunction with the cylinder sensor
