Measuring the outer diameter and T.I.R. (Total Indicator Runout) of motor shafts

The LS-9000 measures the outer diameter and deflection of motor shafts at the same time. Conventionally, hand calipers have been used to measure the outer diameter, and laser displacement sensors have been used to measure the deflection. However, these methods introduced measurement errors due to differences in measurements taken by different people and due to differences in measured points. The LS-9000 Series uses a non-contact, thrubeam method of measurement, which eliminates these problems.
