Measuring thermal expansion in high-temperature environments

Conventionally, no measurement apparatus could be used in environments reaching temperatures of 100°C 212°F and upwards, so measurements were taken from outside through the viewing port. The SI Series allows measurements to be taken with the head inside the high-temperature room so that evaluation tests can be carried out accurately with no temperature drift.
