The LS-9000 Series is equipped with ultra-thin mode, which can be used to perform stable measurement of ultra-thin wires with a diameter of 10 μm (0.0004"). This allows for stable measurement of the outer diameter of ultra-thin wires or ultra-thin gaps. Moreover, the transmitter and receiver of the measuring head are separate devices, so the outer diameters of multiple wires can be measured while a single head traverses over the wires.
